Track Club Members Return Home Safe After Marathon Explosions

About 25 members of the Greater New Bedford Track Club went to Boston Monday to either run in, or enjoy the Boston Marathon.

That joy was shattered shortly before 3pm, when two explosions at the finish line injured dozens of people.

Keith Johnson of New Bedford was crossing the finish line when he heard the blasts....

Johnson says he was not hurt. About nine club members returned to New Bedford last night on a Trembley bus. Others returned to New Bedford with family members and friends.

No member of the track club was hurt, but a companion of one member did suffer minor injuries.
