There's lots of prep work underway as New Bedford's seaport gears up for the wind energy industry to pace the golden road to jobs, jobs, jobs.

The prospects call for mega openings for welders, electricians, plumbers, engineers, lawyers and marketers, just to name a few. Greater New Bedford Voc-Tech high school has numerous training and educational opportunities to fill the current industry void. GNBVT's Rob Gomes and Joe Yarmac came on the show to talk about wind energy and the potential opportunities for the young and displaced workers.
