The Red Sox Sweep Padres; Tyler Seguin is Gone-WBSM Friday Sports (AUDIO)

The Red Sox beat San Diego 8 to 2 yesterday. They head west for 10 games starting tonight with the Angels. WBSM pregame time is 9:20pm.

Tyler Seguin is now with the Dallas Stars. The Bruins sent Seguin, Rich Peverly and defenseman Ryan Button to Dallas in exchange for forwards Loui Eriksson, Matt Fraser, Reilly Smith and defenseman Joe Morrow.

The Celtics will formally introduce their new head coach Brad Stevens at a press conference today.

The 43rd Annual Mattapoisett 4th of July Road Race was held yesterday. The men's winner was Jason Eddy of East Bridgewater with a time of 27:08. The women's winner was Molly Comerford of Milton with a time of 32:02. The top local finishers were Dan Croteau of Acushnet at 29:16 and Meg Hughes of Rochester at 32:47. More than 1,100 runners took part.
