Jon Lester gave up 5 runs as Seattle beat the Red Sox 11 to 4 last night in Seattle. The series continues tonight with Allen Webster on the mound for Boston. WBSM pregame time is 9:25pm.

Red Sox reliever Andrew Miller needs foot surgery and may be out for the rest of the season. On Monday, a specialist found ligament damage. Saturday Miller left the game after twisting his left foot trying to cover the plate. It's the third relief pitcher for Boston to be lost this year.

Patriots ownder Robert Kraft believes the organization may have been "duped" by Aaron Hernandez. He told reporters yesterday that if the accusations are true, they made a mistake and might have to review their draft analysis procedures.

Popular video game maker EA Sports is removing Aaron Hernandez from two of its football games. CBSSPORTS.com reports that Hernandez has been taken out of both "Madden NFL 25" AND "NCAA Football 14."

The Celtics crushed the Pistons 93-63 in Summer League play at the Amway Center in Orlando.
