The Average Woman Owns Over $500 Worth Of Unworn Clothing

Do you have a few items of clothing that you never wear? You're not the only one. A new survey of over two thousand women reveals the average woman owns $550  worth of unworn clothing.

Seventy five percent of participants said they don't wear certain items in their closet because they like other items better, and 51 percent say they do so because they got negative reactions from friends or their significant other when they last wore the item. Thirty nine percent say they simply can't be bothered to clean out their closet of unworn items, and most women admitted to never having worn at least 20 percent of the things in their wardrobes.

The most commonly forgotten items in women's closets: coats and shoes.
