Here's some good news if you are hosting Thanksgiving dinner this year, it's going to cost you less to serve the relatives the meal.  Now before you get too excited the price to put out the turkey-day spread really isn't going down too much.  According to The American Farm Bureau Federation, after crunching the numbers found that the average cost for putting on the traditional Thanksgiving Day meal will cost about $49.04 this year that's down about 44 cents from last year.  This year though it will cost more for folks traveling this year for the traditional meal.  The cost of flying is up over last year with the average ticket price about 9.5 percent over last year.  If you are driving to Grandma's house this year you will save some penny's too, as the cost per-gallon of gasoline is down about 25 cents over last year.  No matter the cost of the meal or getting to the meal it's always worth it to spend time with the family for the holiday.
