Say what you will, the Blizzard of 2013 was quite a storm and once the snow melts I think we are still going to have a big mess to clean up.

Speaking of cleaning up, I have to give credit the all of the crews who worked so hard to clear the snow and restore power.  Yea, the roads may not have been perfectly plowed and it did take some time to restore power to everyone, but these crews worked their butts off to get the job done.

I can't imagine driving in a blizzard trying to keep the roads clear and then doing it for 36 hours straight as some did!  The crews working on the power I have the utmost respect for you!  I watched in awe as these guys took their bucket trucks in the air risking their lives to work on the power lines.  If you were able to get out and see some of the damage the blizzard caused you can understand why it took so long for the power to be restored for some.

I saw roads where four or five poles were snapped like twigs and laying on the ground, trees laying on the wires, wires torn from houses.  I know if you were stuck without power it wasn't fun, remember these crews worked day and night to restore your power and will do it all again after the next storm.

Again I just have to say "Thank You" to the hard workers that were able to get us back to business as usual.
