There's now a mugshot of Texas Governor Rick Perry. The governor was booked this afternoon in Austin on felony abuse of power charges.

He was indicted last Friday after he vetoed money that was meant for the Travis County Public Integrity Unit after District Attorney Rosemary Lehmberg refused to resign following a drunk driving conviction. After being fingerprinted and having his mugshot taken, Perry told cheering supporters outside the courthouse the indictment was trying achieve at the courthouse was could not be achieved at the ballot box.

Perry told the crowd, "we will prevail" and that he won't be distracted "by these baseless political charges."
