State Police Say Standoff Ends In Wareham With Suspect In Custody

Wareham and Massachusetts State Police combined efforts to end a three and a half hour standoff Monday without injury. 

The  incident began around 2:30pm when Wareham officers were called to an house on Ladd Avenue off Sandwich Road to resolve a child custody issue

Wareham Police Investigating Fatal Crash

Wareham Police responded to a single vehicle accident this morning at 5:30 on Great Neck Road near Squaws Path.

They found an SUV that went off the road and struck a tree.

The sole occupant of the vehicle, identfied as 65-year-old Richard Daniel Goodchild of Wareham, was unresponsive at the scene and was taken to Tobey Hospital where he was pronounced dead

Search Uncovers Steroids In Wareham Mobile Home

A Wareham man is arrested after police find a stash of steriods in his mobile home.  Wareham and State Police carried out a search warrent early Wednesday at 10 Alfred Street, recovering several glass vials containing a steroid substance , as well as several bottles containing steroid-type pills and other drugs
