March 20, 2013 An unoccupied home in the north end was the target of a copper thief. An alert neighbor called police to a Harwich Street address and where they found the suspect in the rear yard in possession of a backpack containing screwdrivers, a hammer and pliers and in the basement, police found a hacksaw with copper piping piled up and ready to go.

September 10, 2012 Fairhaven Police are asking the public's help in identifying two suspects in a larceny case.
On August 20th, a Walgreen's customer accidentally left her wallet in the store.
Later that day, her credit card was used in two separate fraudulent transactions at the Cumberland Farms and Best Buy in Dartmouth
