A New Bedford man is dead after becoming entangled in machinery at a local fish plant.

Police say 35-year-old Victor Gerena was in the process of flushing out a shellfish "shucking" machine around 1:30 Thursday morning at the Sea Watch International Seafood Company on Antonio Costa Boulevard when the accident happened
