One Person Killed In New Bedford Motorcycle Crash

 

State Police say one person was killed Wednesday night following a motorcycle crash on the northbound side of Route 140 in New Bedford.

The crash was first reported to the Dartmouth Barracks just before 10 p.m.

Verizon Employee Helps Police Capture Suspected Copper Wire Thief

An Acushnet man has been charged with stealing copper wire from a business on Shawmut Avenue in New Bedford.

Suspect Taken Into Custody In Condo Shooting Incident

New Bedford and Mass. State Police have taken a suspect into custody following a four hour standoff at Southcoast Condominiums at 2120 Phillips Road.
