New Bedford August Unemployment Rate Remains One of State’s Highest

Local unemployment rates across the state were released Tuesday. According to the Office of Labor and Workforce Development, in August, over the month job gains occured in the Worcester area with the remaining eleven areas, for which estimates are published, lost jobs.
