Everyone must understand that addiction is a disease. Just recently, as young as a 14-year old from Acushnet, we read about overdoses each and every new week in New Bedford. Everyone from local authorities, to the governor, are concerned about this public health crisis as we now look at a city to the north of us in Brockton.
