UPDATE: BCC Lockdown Lifted

UPDATE 11:09:

The lockdown placed on the BCC Fall River campus has been lifted as of 10:52am. The lockdown was put in place after reports of an armed individual in the campus's G-Building.

Two Arrested in BCC Sex Assault Allegations

Fall River Police have arrested two men in connection with alleged sexual assaults at or near the Bristol Community College campus.

Fall River and BCC Police began investigations after initial complaints on Thursday, and were able to request a warrant for the arrest of 22-year-old Ruddy Joseph

BCC Trustees Okay Plan To Arm Campus Police

 

Campus Police at Bristol Community College in Fall River will be allowed to carry firearms as soon as next spring, thanks to a vote by the college's Board of Trustees. 

According to the Herald News, campus police officers will recieve firearm safety training from the Fall River Police Department, and also undergo psychiatric evaluations.
