SWANSEA (WBSM) — Swansea firefighters responded to two homes that caught fire Monday morning.

Crews were dispatched to a single-family residence on Mount Far Circle due to reports of smoke. Upon arrival, firefighters found a fire burning in the attic space of the home.

Crews then noted smoke coming from the attic of a vacant house next door.

Firefighters say they forced entry into the home, where they found a fire burning in the ceiling and walls.

Both fires were controlled, and no injuries were reported.
