Days before a Norfolk County woman in her 80's died from EEE, the Swansea School Committee has voted to suspend all evening school sports and activities until the first frost of the season to protect students from mosquito-borne illnesses.

A West Nile infected mosquito was detected in Swansea recently, along with other communities including New Bedford. On average, in this area, first frosts occur around the third week of October. In your opinion, did the Swansea School Committee get it right to suspend all football, sports and outdoor events in the name of protecting the students?
