Thousands of new students will be moving onto the UMass Dartmouth campus this weekend, preparing for the start of the University year.

The official move in day is Sunday, but an estimated 4,500 residential students will be hefting their belongings into dorm rooms throughout the weekend. New Chancellor Divina Grossman calls it, her favorite time of the year.

Grossman will be on campus Sunday, greeting students as they move in, along with their families. More than 9,000 students will attend UMass Dartmouth this year.
