The annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive by the National Association of Letter Carriers has fallen on the second Saturday of May for the past 22 years. The letter carriers team up with other postal unions, Postal Service management and other volunteers to fight hunger locally.

Simply place non-perishable food on your porch or near your mailbox by 8 a.m. Saturday, May 10. Your letter carrier or a helper will bring the food to an agency that is designated to feed the needy in this area.

Even one can of food can make a huge difference when everyone pitches in. You can make a difference! Your compassion will go a long way for those who are less fortunate.
