Stabbing Suspect Returned To Wareham

Photo from Wareham Police Dept.[/caption]A suspect in a stabbing case last month has been returned from Connecticut to face charges in Wareham District Court.

Police say 61-year old Peter "Bucky" Tavares is facing a charge of assault with intent to murder in connection with the stabbing of another man on March 5th. Forty-four year old Anthony Bullock was treated at a Boston-area hospital after suffering four stab wounds during a fight outside an apartment complex on Swifts Beach Road. The wounds were not life threatening.

Police obtained an arrest warrent for Tavares shortly after the incident. He was picked up in Connecticut and brought back to Wareham on Monday to face charges.
