Two masked men attempted to rob a South End market for the 2nd time in the past 2 weeks. The owner of St. Elias Mini Market on Rivet Street fought back against the two men as Nicholas Dawoud grabbed a stick from behind the counter and then a metal display shelf to fight off the two men. One of the suspects, Leland Blake Rosa of Sassaquin Ave was caught and charged with armed robbery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. He was in court Monday and was ordered held on 25 thousand dollars cash bail until his next court appearence Aug. 31st. The second suspect remains at large.
