Two people are uninjured after the small plane they were flying crashed Sunday afternoon near Mansfield. However, they needed a little help to get themselves and their plane out of some trees. State police say the crash happened at about 1:30 p.m. on private property near the Mansfield Airport.

Authorities say firefighters had to free the aircraft and its occupants from the tree line.  Officials from the Massachusetts Aeronautics Commission are investigating  the crash.
