Several Busted In New Bedford Drug Bust

New Bedford Police arrest eight people in a raid on an alleged heroin den on Tallman St Saturday morning. The raid lasted more than 2 hours and police seized more than 20 grams of suspected cocaine, several percocet and suboxone tablets and about $100 dollars in cash.

The first round of arrests occurred at 10:30am Saturday morning where three men were taken into custody and then an hour later,  two more men were arrested and police arrested three more men when police answered the cellphones in the apartment and set up phony drug deals. The charges against the individuals run the gamut from drug possession and distribution to attempting to buy heroin.
