SEEKONK — Seekonk Police are asking for the public's help in locating a suspect who followed and exposed himself to three teenage girls outside of a department store.

On Tuesday, March 20, at about 9:41 p.m., three teenage girls went to the Seekonk Police Department to report suspicious behavior that occurred in the parking lot of the Target store at 79 Commerce Way. The teens reported that while in Target at about 8 p.m., they noticed a man who appeared to be watching them from a distance.

The teens became leery of the man and went to a register to check out. They noticed the man was still watching them.

After getting in their car, the teens saw the man in front of their car about 20 feet away. The teens reported they saw the man exposing himself. After screaming they were going to call the police, the man ran away.

The man was described as medium build, about 5-6, possibly of Hispanic descent, wearing a knit cap, dark colored jacket and khaki pants.

In order to identify the suspect, and in concern for the public that this may not be an isolated incident, Seekonk Police ask for anyone with information to call (508) 336-8123 at any time. If a person wishes to provide information anonymously, it can be called into the Tips Line at (508) 336-7027, Ext. 9. Information may also be emailed to tips@seekonkpd.com.

Seekonk Police also recommend that the public, in general, remain cognizant of their surroundings and of the activities of people around them. Please report suspicious persons and suspicious conditions to your local police department immediately.
