The San Francisco 49ers were able to get a bit of redemption and win the NFC Championship over the Atlanta Falcons.

Atlanta looked to have a handle on the 49ers at the beginning of the game, but it was a case of deja vu for the Falcons, who once again lost a lead, and ultimately lost the game.

Colin Kaepernick threw for 188 yards and a touchdown for San Francisco. Vernon Davis had a big day with 106 yards receiving and caught the lone touchdown from Kaepernick. Frank Gore and LeMichael James each rushed for a score in the win.

Tough loss for Atlanta. Matt Ryan threw for over 300 yards, and three touchdowns. He also threw an interception.

The San Francisco 49ers headed back to the Super Bowl, looking for their sixth Super Bowl win.
