Roadwork On Tremont St. In Taunton

The City of Taunton is advising motorists that milling will begin Thursday on Tremont St.

Officials says the affected area will go from Downing Dr. to the area of Clifford St.

Drivers are being advised to find an alternate route if possible to avoid traffic delays.

Once milling has been completed, the paving of Tremont St. will begin next week.

City officials say they will provide updates as road improvements near completion.
