Reverend Russ Chamberlain Robbed of Gift Cards, Sentimental Coins

New Bedford Police are looking into the apparent theft of a safe from Reverend Russ Chamberlain's home.

Reverend Russ, who operates Mercy Meals and More, says he allowed a less fortunate man he knew to stay with him for a while. Reverend Russ says the man went missing Wednesday night, along with a safe containing hundreds of dollars in gift cards.

Also in the safe were a collection of old coins Chamberlain says were handed down to him by his grandfather.

Reverend Russ says he has told police about the man he believes took the safe. Police are investigating.
