Reported Unarmed Robbery at New Bedford 7-Eleven

A female clerk is unharmed after a reported convenience store robbery in New Bedford this weekend.

The clerk told police around 11pm Saturday, a man walked into the 7-Eleven on Acushnet Avenue in the North End and demanded money. He did not show a weapon but was able to flee the store with an undetermined amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a 6' tall white male, with a medium build with no facial hair. He was last seen wearing a dark blue hat and light blue jeans.

Detectives are reviewing surveillance video of the reported robbery. Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to leave an anonymous tip at 508-99-CRIME(7463).
