I have a big soft spot in my heart for teachers. So many amazing educators helped make me the person I am today, from Kindergarten through college. I'm delighted that as an adult, many of them have become my dear friends and continue to inspire me even now.

That's why when I came across this original short film, "Miss Connie's Last Day," I simply had to share it with you. It is brief, but packs a wallop and I guarantee by the end of it, you'll want to call up your favorite teacher and say 'thank you' for all he or she did for you.

The video tells the story of a retiring preschool teacher who receives a big surprise from her students, both past and present. I love it because it reminds us that teachers do so much more than just teach us how to read and write. They also touch our hearts and impact our entire life, not just the year we're in their classroom.

And in case you're wondering where I came across this video, it's from Feeln, a new video subscription service that I'm addicted to watching which features all my favorite feel-good Hallmark Hall of Fame films as well as original shorts like this one and the very best that family entertainment Hollywood has ever produced. Best of all, now you can subscribe to the service for only 99 cents per month with promo code: 0515BlogConnie.
