The Boston Red Sox were 4-2 winners in game four of the World Series in St. Louis.  Jonny Gomes hit a three-run home run in the sixth inning to give the Sox the lead in the game.  Gomes was a late addition to the game after Shane Victorino was scratched with back tightness.  The game ended when relief pitcher Koji Uehara picked off the pinch runner in the ninth inning.  The series is now tied at two games each, this insures that the World Series will be won in Boston.  Game five has Jon Lester Facing Adam Wainright in a rematch of game one.
