New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez was taken from his home in handcuffs this morning. It is unclear at this hour what he is being charged with.

The Red Sox beat the Rockies last night 11-4. Dustin Pedroia went 3 for 5 with four RBI. The two teams play today. WBSM pregame time is 3:20pm.

It's day three at Wimbledon. Steve Darcis has pulled out because of injury. It was Darcis who defeated two-time champion Rafael Nadal.

And Yankees GM Brian Cashman has told Alex Rodriguez to "just shut....the *&%$ up." The outburst came after Rodriguez tweeted that his hip surgeon had cleared him to play. Cashman said, "When the Yankees want to announce something, they will."
