Public Meeting to Discuss Sale of Rogers and Oxford Schools
The sale of Rogers and Oxford Schools is still being worked out by the Fairhaven Board of Selectmen.
During Monday night’s meeting, the Board decided to hold a special meeting to begin making decisions that will allow the town to move forward with the sales.
Chairman Bob Espindola expects a lot of public opinion during the meeting.
The town must decide on how it plans on selling the properties, what restrictions to set on possible developers, and answer a number of legal questions.
The special meeting will be held at 6:30pm in the Town Hall Banquet Room on August 28th.
