The sale of Precix of New Bedford is now final.  The 112-year old company has been acquired by ZD USA Holdings, Inc.  Precix President David Slutz announced the sale on Monday, saying "we're confident that ZD is committed to investing in our  New Bedford manufacturing operation.  We see this as a strong move to ensure jobs for our people."  He also says ZD will help Precix build a stronger presence in the asian market.  Precix has doubled its revenue since 2009, and expanded its workforce from 195 to 350 employees.
