New Bedford Police are investigating a robbery and a stabbing in seperate incidents Monday. Shortly after 1 Monday Afternoon, a 37 year old female was robbed of her wallet on the Kennedy Highway Overpass in the South End. Police say she was approached by a tall black man, dressed in black, who took the wallet from her hand and was last seen running south on Morton Court.

The empty wallet was found in a rear yard near Cove Street.
