Police Hunt For Suspects In Armed Robbery

Police are searching for two suspects in connection with a convenience store robbery Wednesday night.

According to police, the Coggeshall Street Food Mart was robbed at gunpoint at about 8:40PM. Two masked men, armed with a gun and a hammer, broke into the store's coin machine and cash register, making off with at least $200.

The store's owner and his wife were not hurt. Witnesses describe the first suspect as a six foot tall white male, wearing a grey shirt and sweatpants, a white baseball cap, and bore a tattoo on his left wrist. The second suspect is a white male standing at about five-feet seven-inches, wearing a black and white striped shirt and black pants.
