According to Sports Illustrated, Patriots Tight End Aaron Hernandez has been questioned by police in regards to a homicide case. Hernandez is not initially believed to be a suspect, but he does have a connection to the dead 27 year old man.  His body was found last night by a jogger less than a mile from the Patriots player's home.  A key piece of evidence is a Chevy Suburban that was rented in Hernandez's name. Police want to dust the SUV for fingerprints, and also had a desire to search the tight end's home.  Bristol County DA, Sam Sutter, has turned the investigation over to Massachusetts State Police.

ABC News is reporting that the man who was murdered was an "associate" of Hernandez, and that Hernandez has been uncooperative with police. The Patriots have not commented on the matter.
