Halloween is the season Salem lives for and this year they aren't disappointing Hocus Pocus fans.

After last fall's revival of the cult classic thanks to the highly anticipated and locally filmed sequel, Hocus Pocus is once again at the forefront of the Halloween season this year. From costumes to cupcakes, the Sanderson sisters are everywhere.

The kids who originally set them free are coming to Salem in just a few weeks.

Now all grown up, Thora Birch, Omri Katz, Vinessa Shaw and the voice of Thackery, Jason Marsden, are coming back to town to visit the original movie's locations, sign autographs for fans and be part of a costume bash during an entire weekend of events in Salem on Oct. 20 and 21.

The lineup of events thanks to The Horror Squad Podcast, Salem's Black Hat Society and the city via Creative Collective are all in celebration of the film's 30th anniversary.

Since much of the 1993 movie was filmed in Salem and the entire story takes place in town, where else would the original cast members want to be around Halloween?

Omri Katz made an appearance in Salem last October, but with such a big anniversary for the cult classic movie, the four original actors are coming together again for the first time.

It's big news for fans who are sure to flock to town on Oct. 20 and 21 for what's being called It's Just a Buncha Halloween.

On Saturday, Oct. 21, the autograph signing is scheduled. Right on the Salem Commons from noon to 7 p.m., the cast members will be on hand alongside all the other Common festivities including the Fiesta fair with nearly 100 vendors and a kiddie carnival, too.

It will certainly be a busy Salem weekend in late October when the Hocus Pocus cast members head to town.
