Kasey went out with her friends Friday night, but didn't go to a club or a bar. She drove up to her school at Bridgewater State University for a comedy show. The Portuguese Kids were featured in a free campus event sponsored by the Portuguese American Student Association, and traditional Portuguese cuisine was offered to the students who reserved a ticket. PASA President Kevin Costa and Vice President Gabriella Diniz worked very hard to make the night fun for everyone, and had the support of family and friends to put the show together. A full house, and no one was disappointed.

The Portuguese Kids are fairly well known around this area, but Kasey came across a few people who had no idea who they were. They lacked exposure to the culture that most of us are surrounded by on a daily basis. This is why she is so proud of the campus organizations for allowing students to experience other cultures and customs. If you ever get the chance to see them perform, Kasey strongly suggests you go to The Portuguese Kids. You’ll be on your way to a six-pack in no time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8Odig53NVc
