New Bedford Stabbing

An unidentified 31 year old New Bedford man was the victim in a stabbing incident early Saturday morning. Police were called to St. Luke's Hospital and found the victim suffering from a large laceration to the left side of his face and a stab wound to the left side of his stomach. He was air lifted to Beth Israel Hospital in Boston and is listed in stable condition. Police determined the injuries occured during a fight at Legend's Sports Bar on Covell Street between the victim and an unidentified male.
