New Bedford Stabbing Arrest

New Bedford Police make an arrest in connection with a stabbing incident last weekend at County and Windsor Street. The 22 year old victim suffered 4 stab wounds and was taken to Rhode Island Hospital with non life threatening injuries. Police arrested 31 year old Monzes Goncalves on Friday night at his grilfriend's apartment on Blackmer Street. He was arraigned in district court on assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapons charges.
