New Bedford Police Investigating After Man Shot in the Foot

NEW BEDFORD — New Bedford Police are investigating an apparent shooting incident that left a young man injured.

New Bedford Police say a man in his mid-twenties walked into St. Luke's Hospital at around 10 p.m. Wednesday, with an apparent gun shot wound to the foot area. Police did not identify the man.

Police say the man was not cooperative, and that the injury did not appear to be life threatening.

The incident is under investigation.
