New Bedford Police Arrest One Of Fall River’s Most Wanted
One of Fall River's Most Wanted criminals was arrested this week in New Bedford.
Twenty-eight year old Nathaniel Lewis was wanted in the Spindle City for a shooting on July 5th, Police told the Herald News Lewis shot another man in the head in a dispute over a backpack full of marijuana.
Witnesses said the victim was seriously hurt, but drove away in a pickup truck. Police say the man could not be located to assist in the investigation.
A department spokesman says Det. John McDonald identified Lewis as the shooter, and Lewis was arrested by New Bedford Police on Thursday without incident.
