A Papa John's Pizza delivery driver has been robbed after a phony order was placed.

According to New Bedford Police, the 19-year-old driver was sent to the 200 block of Harvard Street in the Brickenwood Housing Development around 8:30 Sunday night, where the resident stated they did not order any food.

While on his way back to his car, the driver was jumped by two men, who stole the driver's cell phone, iPod, and the food.

The suspects are described as two Hispanic males in their late teens, thin to medium build, with dark hair and dark clothing. They both spoke with an accent.

Another driver was robbed in the same neighborhood almost two weeks ago.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Tyrone Jones at 508-991-6300 ext 134.
