New Bedford Mayor Appoints Two Women

Mayor Jon Mitchell has named two New Bedford Women to head two city departments.

He has named Dagny Ashley to the position of Director of Tourism and Marketing at a salary of a little over $61 thousand dollars a year. He also named  Mary Rapoza to serve as Director of Recreation and Parks at a salary of a little over $52 thousand dollars a year. The City Council must confirm both appointments.
