NEW BEDFORD — A New Bedford man caught driving with a suspend license is arrested after police find marijuana in his vehicle.

New Bedford Police observed a vehicle driving east on Collette Street about 3:45 p.m. Thursday, driven by someone known to have a suspended license.

Police stopped the vehicle and located more than 180 grams of marijuana and a digital scale inside.

The driver, 26-year-old Jordan Jorge of 47 Yale Street, New Bedford, was arrested on charges of operating with a suspended license, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and possession of Class D, substance subsequent offense.

Jorge was previously convicted of possession of a Class D substance with intent to distribute in March 2011.
