New Bedford Police Investigate West End Homicide

New Bedford Police and the Bristol County DA's office are investigating what police are calling a homicide.

It occurred in the West End in the vicinity of Liberty and Hillman Street overnight.

Although law enforcement officials haven't confirmed the name of the victim, sources tell WBSM News a male was apparently stabbed. The victim was a 21 year-old male.

According to the Bristol County District Attorney's office, the initial 9-11 call came in jsut after 1:30am.
