Do you love to take photos of beautiful natural settings?  Have you visited Dartmouth's newest reserves, Paskamansett Woods and Wernick Farm, and taken some great pictures at those places?  How about the other wonderful natural reserves in Dartmouth?

The Dartmouth Natural Resources Trust invites you to share those great photos or any others taken on DNRT property for the 11th annual calendar photo contest!  Submissions must be made by August 19 and the winning photographs will be featured in DNRT’s 2017 calendar, which will be published in September.  According to South Coast Today.com, the full-color calendar highlights Dartmouth’s natural character.  Proceeds from the sale will benefit land conservation in the community.

Photographs must be taken on or of a DNRT property and can feature agricultural lands, forests, lakes and rivers, coastal dunes, salt marshes, recreation trails, historic sites, wildlife and people enjoying or using the land.  A list of DNRT reserves can be found at dnrt.org.  Since it is a calendar, DNRT is looking for images from all seasons.  Each entrant may submit a maximum seven photographs.

A disk of high-resolution digital photos can be mailed to DNRT, PO Box 70567, Dartmouth, MA, 02747, or dropped off at the DNRT office, 318 Chase Road in Dartmouth.

If you wish to send photos electronically, call (508) 991-2289.

All entries must include the photographer's name, address, phone number, e-mail, the place where the photo was taken, when it was taken, and any comments the entrant wishes to make about the photo.  The entrant must be the sole author and owner of the copyright in all photos entered.  Although entrants retain complete copyright over their images, entrants grant DNRT a royalty-free right to use, display and reproduce the image for purposes of publication in all media.
