Numerous brands of wind-up musical plush toys have been recalled by Kids Preferred because the parts from the wind-up handle can detach from the toy.

According to WPRI 12, the company so far has received six reports of the handle falling off.  The Consumer Product Safety Commission stated that no injuries have been reported.

The recalled wind-up musical plush toys brands include, Carter’s, Child of Mine, Guess How Much I love you, and Just One You. The toys have a metal wind-up mechanism that can be powered on and can play music. They were sold in a variety of animal characters and colors.

The model number and batch code can be found on the smallest white sewn-in label behind the care label.

The toys were sold from Jan. 2016 to Aug. 2017 online and at stores nationwide, including Target, Walmart, and Carter's.

"Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled toys, take them away from young children and contact Kids Preferred for a free replacement toy."
