Mitchell: City Streets Passable

 Mayor Jon Mtchell is assessing New Bedford's plowing operation, in the aftermath of a major snow storm that dumped more than eight inches on the city. 

Mitchell says the main roads are passable in New Bedford, side roads however still need some work.  Conditions however will change rapidly over the weekend....

Mitchell says putting salt down Friday and Friday night would in all likelyhood be a waste of money.  He says its too cold for the salt to work.
