Middleborough Man Faces Charges In Fatal Crash
Authorities are bringing charges against a 20-year-old man they say was involved in a car crash that took the life of a respected former Middleborough High School teacher.
A spokeswoman for the Plymouth County district attorney’s office says Zachery Lemmo of Middleborough was arrested Tuesday and charged with motor vehicle homicide while drunk in connection with the crash Saturday night that took the life of 61-year-old James Braga, a Vietnam veteran, who taught business at the high school and coached boys’ soccer until his retirement several years ago.
Vehicles driven by the two men were involved in a crash on Route 44, but police have not made the crash report public.
